Repairing a Sushi Handai

For those who have no idea what a handai is its the 'container' sushi rice is put in when making sushi. This particular example has a history and came in pieces, it is now good as new !

6'38" around the ring in a 'mildly' modified X32

In GT4 of course.
- ricer wing for massive downforce
- ride height dropped to the maximum in the front, few inches left rear
- stiffest suspension setting
- massive front camber
- Super soft tires F&R
- stage 3 turbo, race intercooler
- highest available drivetrain mods
- 2.0 diff
And a coupla casual laps... I could easily shave another 10 seconds with a little more effort !

One mean looking jeep.

i don't like jeeps. And this one looks like it was built solely for show ! Judging by how clean the paint was. But it does look mean.

2011 Impreza Sedan to go W-I-D-Ebody !!!!!

And it looks 10X better than the current car which I think is a DEvolution of the GD Impreza

Chrishoare.ca

This dude is automotive photography. I've followed his work for some time on the local forum, and he sources the nicest, rarest cars around; and makes them look even better through his lens. And expect everything from a Datsun to an Aston, hes got it all. Teaser of his work below, and if you have a vehicle that *deserves* being photographed give Chris a shout at www.chrishoare.ca

Corvette Grand Sport

Essentially a little less hardcore version of the Z06. Features some nice open wheels that show off a BBK stolen from its big brother.Considering how its about USD 20,000 less than the Z06 its quite the performance bargain. This one in the picture chose to park next to me because I park in an isolated far-away spot from the rest of the four wheelers.

Scottish Police Roll Gangster-Style In Seized Q7 TDI
By Ben Wojdyla

When police in Strathclyde, Scotland seized a gang-owned Audi Q7 TDI they realized it was too cool to auction off (and return the money to citizens coffers) so they've applied police livery and roll like bad-boy yardies. Mad respect.

Shutter Island

Creepiest movie I've seen in a while... but really well done. (obviously, its Scorcese) keeps you guessing till the end, and for a few moments AFTER it ends...till you realize what actually just happened. Watch it for a few jumpy moments and lots of trippy nightmare sequences !

I join survivalistboards.com

why you ask ? I figured it was time to join other paranoid people and talk about our irrational fears that we think are perfectly normal - if that sentence makes any sense. my constant risk assesment (paranoia to you) and recent increase in natural disasters motivated me to educate myself. From the Tsunami in south asia, totally erratic weather here in north america and those earthquakes (the 5.9 in eastern Turkey being the most recent). Les Stroud's Survival Book was first... Neil Strauss' Emergency was next, SAS survival book to come. nav/comm Equipment - check. Physical fitness - check. Booksmarts - check. Urban smarts - check. Ability to survive anything - ???

dirty car art

Scott Wade just got more publicity on autoblog. Hes a dude who creates works of art in dusty car windows. He uses brushes and these things look like a few hours worth of work in conte' crayon. except its on a glass. and the shading is therefore inverted. genuis.

Cop Out

So my brother-in-law-to-be and good friend took me to see Cop Out Friday night. Definitely funnier than anything I saw in 2009. A good mix of serious and silly humour, not 'stupid-funny' by any means. Tracy Morgan delivers ! Bruce Willis... well he makes for a good serious-ish role !
