2010 Challenger : My review !
yes, thats a 34 Ford Roadster parked behind it.
First impressions - this thing is HUGE. sleeker than the charger, similar dimensions. The one I got personal with wasnt a srt-8, but the 5.7L R/T. the hood is crafted beautifully, and makes a bold statement. Exhaust note is awesome, low rumble at idle, roar at low rpms, wail at high rpms.
The good - the 5.7 provides plenty of power for street driving. Gobs of torque, this one had the 6-speed manual TREMEC out of the viper. Looks aggressive yet refined. interior is well designed, in terms of ergonomics, seats are very nicely done. The undercarriage is EXTREMELY well designed, everything is tucked beautifully, and the exhaust piping is nice and large ;)
The not so good - the srt8 (6.1L) is the only one with brembos. Not an available option with the R/T. The big brake option just gives you bigger rotors and calipers. Interior still has the plasticky feel of new american cars. price difference with the srt is 10 large, which makes the srt not so appealing. 20" optional chrome wheels (on this car) are cladded. not actually chrome dipped. Boo.
